Maxum 30
A compact cruiser for couples and very small groups, with cushioned bow seating, a dining area and a cozy cabin with a bed and bathroom.

The fleet
Every crewed yacht, catamaran and trimaran we can arrange on Banderas Bay, in one place. Filter by group size, food and drinks or departure area, then send us your date and we check which ones are free.
How yacht rental works here
Yacht rental in Puerto Vallarta, as we arrange it, means a private, crewed charter: the vessel, its captain and its crew are reserved for your group for an agreed number of hours, and nobody else comes aboard.
This page brings together every vessel we currently offer, from compact cruisers for a couple to event catamarans built for a crowd. They are not interchangeable. Each one has its own listed maximum, its own departure marina and, above all, its own food and drink arrangement, so two yachts of the same length can include very different things.
Use the filters to narrow the list, open any yacht that has its own detail page for photos and specifications, or simply send us the names of the ones you like. We then check, for your date, which of them are free and what each one includes, and put it in writing before anything is booked.
Every vessel comes with a captain and crew. Nobody in your group needs a boating license or local knowledge: you choose the people and the plan, and the crew looks after the boat.

Cards summarize each vessel's published listing. Availability, the exact inclusions and the rate are confirmed for your date when you inquire.
Reading a card
The cards are built from each vessel's listing and nothing is added for effect. Here is how to read them, so your shortlist rests on facts rather than photos.
“Up to” is the listed maximum, not a recommendation. Where listings disagree, we show the lower figure. On some yachts the base arrangement covers a smaller group and extra guests are added by arrangement, so always give us your real headcount.
Length in feet gives a sense of scale, but layout matters just as much: a flybridge, a wide bow or a catamaran's beam all add usable space. A few listings give inconsistent lengths, so those cards show none until we confirm it.
The area the vessel normally leaves from: Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta or La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Some vessels list two. Other starting points are sometimes possible at extra cost.
The colored label on each photo shows which of five arrangements the listing describes, from ice and water to a chef on board. All five are explained below.
Up to four tags drawn from the listing, such as a chef, an open bar, lunch, water toys, a flybridge, an air-conditioned salon, a sound system, or permission to bring your own food and drinks. A missing tag means “not listed”, not “impossible”.
“View details” opens a full page with a gallery and specifications for the yachts that have one. “Ask about this yacht” starts an inquiry with the vessel's name already filled in.
Food and drinks are where vessels differ most. Most listings include a set number of beers and sodas with snacks such as fruit, guacamole and chips, and the quantity changes from yacht to yacht. Smaller groups of vessels list lunch, an open bar with food, or a chef on board, while a few list only ice and water and leave the catering to you.
Where a listing allows it, you can bring your own food and drinks, and on many yachts catering can be added at extra cost.
A label is a summary, not a menu. Two yachts with the same label can list different quantities, brands and dishes. We send the exact listed items for every yacht you shortlist, and anything beyond them is confirmed in writing before you book.
Ice and bottled water are listed; most of these vessels welcome your own food and drinks, and catering can be arranged.
3 vesselsA set allowance of beer and soda plus snacks such as fruit, guacamole and chips. Quantities vary by yacht.
37 vesselsDrinks and snacks plus a listed lunch — often ceviche — on select yachts.
3 vesselsAn open bar (national or international brands, depending on the vessel) with snacks or a meal.
7 vesselsA chef prepares food on board, typically with drinks or an open bar included in the listed arrangement.
3 vesselsDeparture points
Banderas Bay is large, and each marina sits on a different stretch of it. Boarding close to where you are staying, and close to where you want to spend the day, keeps more of your charter on the water.
Most of the fleet, 42 vessels, lists a Puerto Vallarta departure. Marina Vallarta, the city's main marina, lies between the hotel zone and the airport, and the city is a common starting point for the south shore and Los Arcos. A per-guest marina or port fee may apply at Marina Vallarta.
Just north of the Ameca River, which marks the state line, Nuevo Vallarta is in Nayarit. 13 vessels list a departure here, including both large event catamarans. It suits guests staying on the Nayarit side and charters focused on the northern part of the bay.
Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle sits on the north shore, on the way toward Punta Mita at the northern tip of the bay. 3 vessels list La Cruz as a departure point, including the Azimut 80.
Some vessels list more than one departure, and some can begin elsewhere for an additional fee. The two event catamarans list La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Punta Mita as optional starting points, the Azimut 80 lists Punta Mita, and the Hatteras 61 lists Puerto Vallarta and La Cruz on request. If a different pick-up point would help your group, ask, and we confirm whether it works for that yacht and date.
Where a charter can realistically go depends on its length, the departure point, the yacht, the weather, sea conditions and park regulations. That is why we suggest itineraries only once those are known, and why nothing on this page promises a particular stop.

Availability
Every vessel on this page is a real yacht that can be chartered, but none of them is held for anyone until a date is confirmed. Yachts are booked by other guests, taken out for maintenance and, in a few cases, offered only during part of the year: the Azimut 85 (2017) and Custom 90 are both listed as seasonal.
That is why the website never marks a yacht as available. When you inquire, we check the vessels that fit your plans against your date and come back with the ones that are genuinely open, along with anything that has changed since the listing was written.
Details can also differ between listings for the same yacht. Where they do, we show the most conservative figure and say so in the yacht's notes or in your quote. Capacity, length and inclusions are always reconfirmed before you book.

Each collection page shows only the vessels that fit, with advice on choosing between them.

Questions & answers
Straight answers to the questions guests ask most. Anything not covered here is confirmed in writing when you inquire.
In Puerto Vallarta the two terms are used interchangeably. Both mean reserving a private vessel, with its captain and crew, for your group for an agreed number of hours. Every vessel on this page is offered that way; none of them is a shared tour with other passengers.
Not through this fleet. Every vessel is listed with a captain and crew, and none is offered as a self-drive (bareboat) rental. That also means nobody in your group needs a boating license: the captain handles navigation, anchoring and safety decisions, and you decide how to spend the day.
Each filter button shows one collection at a time: a size range, luxury yachts, catamarans, vessels with food included, vessels with an open bar, or departures from Nuevo Vallarta and La Cruz. The sort menu reorders the visible yachts by capacity or length. For a combination, such as a luxury yacht from Nuevo Vallarta, open the matching collection page or simply tell us what you need.
It is the listed maximum number of guests for that vessel. Where listings disagree, the card shows the lower figure. On some yachts the standard arrangement covers a smaller group and additional guests up to the maximum are accommodated by arrangement, so the exact headcount you give us shapes what we confirm.
For the Luxury Custom 45 and Custom 55, the published length is inconsistent across listings. Rather than guess, we leave it off the card and confirm the exact specification when you inquire.
They show which food and drink arrangement the vessel's listing describes: ice and water, drinks and snacks, lunch included, open bar and food, or chef on board. The label is a summary. The exact listed items, quantities and any upgrades are sent with your options and confirmed in writing.
A selection of yachts has its own page with a photo gallery, specifications and answers to common questions. Every other vessel can be chartered just the same: use “Ask about this yacht” on its card and we send its details along with your options.
Not necessarily. The fleet shows what can be chartered, not what is open on a particular day. Availability is checked vessel by vessel for your date, and the Azimut 85 (2017) and Custom 90 are offered only during select months each year.
It depends on where you are staying and where you want to go. Puerto Vallarta, where most of the fleet is based, is a common starting point for the south shore and Los Arcos. Nuevo Vallarta and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle suit guests staying on the Nayarit side and days focused on the northern shore and the Punta Mita area. Tell us both and we suggest vessels that fit.
Sometimes. Several listings mention other starting points for an extra fee: the large event catamarans list La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Punta Mita as options, and the Azimut 80 and Sea Ray 50 mention Punta Mita. The Hatteras 61 lists Puerto Vallarta and La Cruz departures on request. Whether it works for your yacht and date is confirmed when you inquire.
There can be. At Marina Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta a per-guest marina or port fee may apply, and it is generally not part of the charter itself. We tell you whether a fee applies at your departure point when we send your options.
Send us their names with your date and group size, or use “Ask about this yacht” on any card. We reply with each vessel's listed capacity, departure point and inclusions, and whether it is free on your date, so you can compare like for like before choosing.
